1. What Prettifai does

Prettifai helps Shopify merchants review, improve, and optimize their Shopify storefront experience using automated analysis, design suggestions, previews, recommendations, and related tools.

Prettifai may generate design recommendations, visual previews, copy suggestions, theme change suggestions, code-related suggestions, screenshots, and other outputs based on your Shopify store, theme, storefront, content, screenshots, instructions, or selected pages.

Prettifai is not a full-service design agency, development agency, marketing agency, SEO agency, legal advisor, or business consultant. The app provides automated suggestions and generated outputs. You remain responsible for deciding whether those outputs are appropriate for your store.

2. Shopify account and permissions

To use Prettifai, you must have a Shopify store and the necessary authority to install apps, approve app permissions, approve charges, and make changes to the store.

By installing Prettifai, you authorize us to access the Shopify data and permissions required to provide the app. Prettifai uses Shopify theme-related permissions to read, analyze, preview, and, where authorized, write theme or storefront changes.

Prettifai does not request access to Shopify customer data or Shopify order data.

You are responsible for your Shopify account, store settings, theme, content, products, policies, third-party apps, custom code, and compliance with Shopify’s own terms and requirements.

3. Your responsibility for changes

Prettifai may suggest, preview, generate, or apply design and storefront changes.

You are responsible for reviewing, testing, approving, publishing, rejecting, editing, or relying on any Prettifai output.

You should review all generated outputs before using them on your live store. You should also test your store after applying any changes, including on desktop and mobile devices.

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of sales, traffic, conversions, rankings, revenue, customers, goodwill, or business opportunities.
• Theme conflicts, layout issues, visual issues, performance issues, or bugs caused by Shopify themes, third-party apps, custom code, browser differences, or Shopify platform limitations.
• Incorrect, incomplete, unsuitable, low-quality, subjective, or undesirable AI-generated suggestions.
• Your decision to publish, reject, edit, modify, or rely on any output generated by Prettifai.
• Any outcome caused by changes you make manually after using Prettifai.

4. No guaranteed results

Prettifai is designed to help merchants improve store design and user experience, but we do not guarantee any specific result.

We do not guarantee that using Prettifai will increase sales, conversion rate, revenue, profit, customer trust, traffic, SEO performance, app store ranking, advertising performance, or any other business metric.

Any examples, benchmarks, screenshots, claims, comparisons, or marketing statements are for informational purposes only and may not reflect your specific results.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Prettifai to:

• Violate any law, regulation, Shopify policy, or third-party right.
• Upload, submit, generate, or process illegal, harmful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or misleading content.
• Reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, scrape, or misuse the app.
• Interfere with the security, stability, availability, or operation of Prettifai.
• Attempt to access systems, data, stores, accounts, or credentials without authorization.
• Use Prettifai to create or support spam, phishing, fraud, malware, counterfeit activity, deceptive activity, or unlawful tracking.
• Use Prettifai in a way that violates Shopify’s terms, policies, or app requirements.
• Use Prettifai to copy or infringe another store’s protected content, design, branding, or intellectual property.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use of Prettifai creates risk, violates these Terms, violates Shopify requirements, or may harm us, Shopify, merchants, users, or third parties.

6. Your content

You remain the owner of your store content, brand assets, screenshots, images, text, products, theme files, instructions, and other materials you provide or make available through Shopify.

You grant Prettifai a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide right to access, process, reproduce, modify, display, transmit, and use your content only as needed to provide, secure, support, troubleshoot, and improve the app.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to provide this content to Prettifai and allow us to process it for the purpose of operating the app.

You are responsible for ensuring that your store content, products, claims, images, reviews, marketing copy, and policies are accurate, lawful, and non-infringing.

7. Generated outputs

Prettifai may generate design recommendations, previews, copy suggestions, code suggestions, layouts, theme changes, visual changes, screenshots, reports, or other outputs.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you may use the outputs generated for your own Shopify store.

Generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, generic, unsuitable, non-compliant, or visually inconsistent. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before using them.

We do not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, original, error-free, legally compliant, non-infringing, accessible, SEO-optimized, conversion-improving, or suitable for your business.

8. Billing, pricing, and payments

Prettifai may offer free trials, free runs, paid runs, one-time charges, usage-based charges, recurring plans, quarterly plans, or other pricing options.

Current pricing may include options such as:

• One Page: $49 for one page.
• Full Website: $99 for up to five pages on one website.
• A/B Agent: planned for July 1, 2026 at $399 per quarter, if and when made available.

Pricing, features, limits, availability, and included deliverables may change from time to time. The price and terms shown in the app and in the Shopify charge approval screen at the time of purchase are the binding price and purchase terms for that transaction.

Billing may be handled through Shopify Billing. By approving a charge, subscription, plan, or purchase through Shopify, you agree to pay the applicable fees.

You are responsible for reviewing the charge details before approving payment.

9. Refund policy

Because Prettifai uses paid third-party infrastructure and AI/model providers to generate outputs, paid jobs may create non-recoverable processing costs once work begins.

Unless required by law, Shopify policy, or expressly agreed by us in writing:

• Completed jobs are non-refundable.
• Jobs are non-refundable once processing has started and a preview, recommendation, report, generated output, theme draft, theme change, or other deliverable has been created.
• Fees are non-refundable because you dislike the subjective quality of a design, choose not to publish the output, change your mind, expected a different business result, or do not achieve increased sales, conversions, traffic, rankings, or revenue.
• Fees are non-refundable for issues caused by your theme, third-party apps, custom code, Shopify settings, missing permissions, incorrect instructions, or changes you make outside Prettifai.

We may, at our discretion, provide a refund or credit if there is a duplicate charge, billing error, or a Prettifai technical failure that prevents the job from starting and no output or deliverable is generated.

Any refunds that we approve will be processed through the original payment processor, including Shopify Billing where applicable.

10. App availability

We aim to keep Prettifai available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

The app may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, third-party services, Shopify issues, hosting issues, network problems, security events, or other events outside our control.

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of Prettifai at any time.

11. Third-party services

Prettifai depends on third-party services, including Shopify, Cloudflare, Google Cloud, Resend, analytics providers, AI/model providers, and other infrastructure or service providers.

We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, changes, data practices, terms, failures, model behavior, or generated results.

Your use of Shopify and other third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual property

Prettifai, including its software, interface, design, branding, logos, systems, workflows, prompts, documentation, product experience, and related materials, is owned by Prettifai Inc. or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, extract, scrape, or create derivative works from Prettifai except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

No rights are granted to you except the limited right to use Prettifai according to these Terms.

14. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, comments, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

We may use feedback to improve Prettifai, develop new features, update marketing, or change our product strategy.

15. Disclaimers

Prettifai is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that Prettifai will meet your expectations, work with every Shopify theme, work with every third-party app, preserve every custom theme modification, satisfy every design preference, or produce error-free results.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prettifai Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, traffic, sales, customers, rankings, conversions, or opportunities.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Prettifai will not exceed the greater of:

• The amount you paid to Prettifai in the three months before the claim; or
• CAD $100.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Prettifai Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of Prettifai.
• Your store, theme, content, products, services, claims, policies, or business.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any law, Shopify policy, or third-party right.
• Your decision to publish, modify, reject, edit, or rely on any Prettifai output.
• Any dispute between you and your customers, visitors, suppliers, contractors, or service providers.

18. Termination

You may stop using Prettifai at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Prettifai at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the app, failed to pay fees, or if we discontinue the app.

After termination, sections that should reasonably survive will continue to apply, including sections about billing, refunds, your responsibility for outputs, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, privacy, and governing law.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on our website or inside the app.

The updated version becomes effective when posted, unless otherwise stated. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.

Your continued use of Prettifai after the updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Any disputes related to these Terms or Prettifai will be handled in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
